Synopsis

Hiyama Fuyumi (Nakama Yukie) is one of Japan’s leading neurosurgeons. A doctor who stoically persisted in her “ideals” and achieved her current position as the best in brain surgery in the world. She is always cool and collected, and never smiles. However, what has enabled her to get to the top at a young age is her decision on the order of precedence of human lives somtimes – she would go all out to save the lives she wishes to. One day, Fuyumi performs a surgery on a patient with blockage of the circle of willis (the main arterial anastomatic trunk of the brain) using the latest procedures she had developed. Although several unexpected things happen to Fuyumi, the surgery should have been a success …
